When I think about the month of November I think about Thanksgiving. I just wanted to do a short little post about the man in this picture. I am SOOOO grateful for him and for everything he does for our little family. He works 50 plus hours a week, and goes to school full time. As if that wasn't enough stress there is always homework. When I married James I knew he was a hardworker and he has NEVER given me a reason to doubt that. I know he will do anything for our family even if it means working 100 hours a week. On top of all that work, school, and homework he is the greatest husband I could ask for and the best dad in the whole world! I hear moms complain about the dad's not helping out enough and it is the exact opposite in our situation. James and I actually argue about who gets to feed Jax :) I have never had to get on his case about changing a dirty diaper or making a bottle. He is the greatest and I dont think I tell him enough. I don't think many people follow our blog, but for those of you who do I want you to know I LOVE MY HUSBAND!!!!

Halloween!!!

Last year around Halloween we got together with some friends and carved pumpkins and made carameled apples. We had such a good time that we did it again this year and decided to make it a yearly tradition. This year our really good friends Greg and Melissa hosted the event at their new house. We made apples first, then dove right into the pumpkins! Here is what the end results looked like..

So bitter sweet!

Today, October 28,2009 Jax rolled over! It was after his bath while he ws getting lotioned up and getting dressed. He has always been strong and very advanced for his age, and that kinda makes me sad. He is losing that wanting to held and be cuddled and wants to play with his toy, sit up, stand while holding my fingers, talk to us with his coo's and ooh's, and now ROLL OVER! His 4 month appointment is coming up on Tuesday and I cannot wait to see what our pediatricion has to say!

Time for a haircut??

Well this is it, I think i just might cave into everyone. Jax needs a haircut! I'm just so sad to have to do it. That means he is getting so big. He's not even 4 months old yet and I already have to give him the old man come over! As much as i want to hold on to his "long, luscious, thick locks" hahaha i think its time to say our goodbyes.

Okay, I finally got around to posting a few more pics of Jax. I cannot believe how big he is getting! He is in size 2 diapers now and can actually wear little boys clothes. He will be 4 months old November 2 and he will be able to start eating rice cereal!!! He is entering such a fun stage where he can laugh out loud and I think he is discovering his hands. He looks at his toys and he makes an attempt to reach for them now. He can sit for a few seconds (well more like balance over his belly) and he can stand for forever if we hold his hands lightly. His balance is great and he can support his own head completely now. We just love him sooo much and cannot wait for more milestones to be achieved!

2 month checkup!

Well this week was a very important week for Jax and I. We both had doctors appointments. I had an appointment with my doctor and Jax had his two month checkup! My appointment was Thurs. at 10:50 and Jax had his on Wed. at 4:00. So 3:30 on Wed. comes around and I load Jax into the car and off we go. We arrived to the doctors office and much to my suprise his pediatrition wasnt there?? His nurse asked if she could help me and I said, "Yes my son has an appointment with Dr. Moskawitz today at 4." And her look gave it all away. She said, "Are you sure" and then I replied "No...." I had gotten our appointments MIXED UP!! So I missed my IUD appointment. As soon as I got to my car I called my doctor to explain the situation and luckily someone cancelled for 9:00 a.m. the next morning (the same day as Jax's app.) so i took
their spot and luckily it all worked out. Both of our appointments went super good and Jaxon is
such a cute, growin boy!! Here are his numbers...
-Birth, 7 lbs 13 oz. and 20 inches long
-2 week check, 9 lbs 14 oz and 21.5 inches long
-2 month check, 11 lbs 10 oz and 23 inches long!!

Another quick update & pics!!

Well I must say I am LOVING being a mom. Jax is the best baby I could have ever asked for. He sleeps six hours at a time and hardly ever cries! I go back to work the middle of this month and it's going to be very hard to leave this little guy. At least I only have to work a few days a week and I know he will be in good hands thanks to my loving in laws and my mom. From the day he was born the doctors and nurses were shocked at how alert he was, and he hasn't changed a bit. He is quite observant and very inquisitive. His big smile and little coo's make my heart melt. He has lost that newborn look and is now like a toddler and he is only two months old! They really do grow up so fast. We have his 2 month appointment tomorrow so I will post again soon to keep you updated on his stats! Im predicting 13 pounds and 23 inches! He is a big boy! Enjoy!
